This article documents the steps required to export Campus Pack content to your local computer. The export process will export the Campus Pack student content that was published on each page or entry in a Wiki, Journal, or Blog, as well as any comments or tags (if enabled). Assignment instructions that were listed in the "description field" are not included.

This process needs to be completed for each D2L course that utilized Campus Pack.

Download Individual Wikis, Blogs, or Journals from a Course

Open the Campus Pack external learning tool link in your D2L course:

Open the Campus Pack element (Wiki, Blog, Journal, Podcast) that you wish to export.

Open the "Settings" menu and choose "Export" from the list of options.

The recommended format to export is "a standalone web site." If you'd like to include viewer comments and tags associated with any of the posts, be sure to leave the options checked and click "Export."

The export process will queue. It may take some time depending on the size of the Campus Pack component. To download the export, return to "Settings > Export" and click on the available export to save it to your computer.

The export will download as a compressed .zip file. Unzip the file and open the folder to view the contents. Each page or entry will receive it's own HTML page/file. Double click on the page to open it.
